Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a benefit some employers offer so their employees have access to short-term counseling with a mental health professional. Utilizing your EAP benefit, you would not accrue any co-pay, deductible, or other out-of-pocket costs for the number of counseling sessions pre-authorized by your employer's EAP provider. For more information, or to find out if you have this benefit contact your employer's human resources department.
If you have this benefit, you will be given a confirmation letter/authorization code to provide to us when scheduling an appointment.
Self-pay:
Initial Intake session (identifying symptoms, gathering comprehensive information, and diagnostic assessment): $150
Individual counseling: (50 minute session) $130
Insurance: If we do not accept your health insurance, you may submit your receipts regarding services to your insurance company to seek reimbursement. It is not guaranteed that your insurance company will reimburse you.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy: Please provide at least 24-hours advance notice when cancelling or rescheduling your appointment. Failure to provide 24-hours advance notice, will result in paying the full session fee to the credit/debit card on file with That Missing Peace Counseling and Consulting.
